The dragonets of prophecy

Hi,

My name is Thomas. I am 12 years old and I will present you a book I just read: The dragonets of prophecy

Characters

Heroes

Clay: Clay is a Mudwing, one of the kinds of dragons, he is a boy and has an undying loyalty for his friends, which he protects furiously.

Sunny: Sunny is a Sandwing, she is a girl dragonet, but unlike the other sandwings she does not have a poison gland at the tip of her tail, which is regarded as weird by other dragons. Sunny believes the best of everyone but can´t keep secrets well.

Starflight: Starflight is a Nightwing boy. Nightwings are a kind of dragon who usually have secret powers like mind reading  and etc. However, Starflight does not have any of those powers, but he is very bright and is relied upon in mental challenges

Tsunami: Tsunami is a Seawing, a type of drago. She is a girl. She is impulsive and likes to boss people around but she is the one that started the whole thing and is completely devoted to her friends.

Glory: Glory is a RainWing,  one of the dragon types. She is also a girl and can change colors, fade into the background and become invisible, she is usually picked on by the guardians because of a stereotype about RainWings, which are considered dumb and lazy by everyone but her friends.

Secondary characters

Dune: Dune is a SandWing, also a dragon, he is a guy, and is extremely battle-scarred , despises the dragonets almost as much as Kestrel and he is also one of the guardians

Webs: Webs is a SeaWing, one of the dragon types, he is also a guy. He is one of the guardians. He tries to be nice to the dragonets and be patient with them but generally does not have much of a say in what the guardians do.

Kestrel: Kestrel is a SkyWing, she is a female dragon. She is really mean to the dragonets and won´t hesitate to kill one if she can get away with it. She  has burn marks on her hands and the dragonets do not know where they originate from until the end.

 Antagonists

Queen Scarlet: Queen Scarlet is the queen of the SkyWings and locked up the dragonets in her dungeons to fight in her arena as gladiators, she has battles each day and multiple dragons die each time, she does this as a form of entertainment.

Location

The world they live in is a fiction world is called Pyrrhia which is divided into 7 kingdoms; the Mudwings, the SandWings, The SeaWings, the RainWings, the Nightwings, the SkyWings and the IceWings.

Style of writing

The book is written in a way that lets us know what the character is thinking, allowing us to slowly understand what is going on and what the characters are going to do.

Intended audience

I think the intended audience is children around the age of ten, who like fiction books.

What I liked most in this book

The thing I liked most in this book was how the dragonets go from a prison to an even worst prison and (SPOILER ALERT) escaped both of them.
