The kings of Clonmel

My name is Thomas. I am 10 years old and I will present you a book I just read: The kings of Clonmel by John Flanagan.

Overview

The book is a very detailed story of three companions who try to stop a cult from happening in a foreign country, they must do it in a way that shows to all that it fake and there is no god protecting them but they have to do that without being speared. But All the while Tennyson is hiring bandits telling them to pretend to attack villages but if he didn't show up they had to attack for real and people started thinking that Tennyson was summoning the power of the sun god Aleass, and he told them that he needed gold to give to Aleass.

The Kings of Clonmel.jpg The character

Will is a ranger, an elite squad of longbow men who also do espionage and secret missions for the king. He's young and was the apprentice of Halt, and likes honey in his coffee. He got that habit from Halt during his apprenticeship. He is in love with an apprentice of lady Pauline.

Horace is a knight of Araluen serving the king. He has a soft spot for Cassandra, the king's daughter, and was a companion of Will's in the orphanage where they grew up, although they got into many fights.

The style of writing

The author writes as if this was something that he did, that he is within the skin of his characters, the story entrances the reader as he feels compelled to read the next page and the next until the book is finished
